More than a lactition

A serene atmosphere of love, peace and security.
We provide expert guidance and compassionate care.

Hi, my name is Martha, I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience, including 8 years in a Level IV Neonatal ICU. My passion lies in supporting mothers who face challenges with breastfeeding and other lactation-related issues. I am dedicated to empowering and guiding mothers through their breastfeeding journeys by providing the necessary care and expertise to help them succeed.

My commitment to this work is deeply personal; after giving birth to my daughter at just 25 weeks, I experienced first hand the lack of support available to new mothers. This experience fueled my desire to make a difference, and I am proud to be part of the change I once sought in our community.

Mother

As a new mother, I faced several challenges with breastfeeding, from latching issues to concerns about milk supply. Martha provided me with the guidance and support I desperately needed during this crucial time.

Martha demonstrated a deep understanding of lactation with a compassionate approach that helped both me and my baby. She patiently explained techniques, offered practical solutions, and reassured me every step of the way. Her expertise was evident, and her encouragement helped build my confidence as a breastfeeding mother.

Thanks to Martha’s dedicated support, my baby and I have been able to establish a successful breastfeeding routine. The personalized care and attention we received made all the difference. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and caring lactation specialist, look no further than Martha Marcellus she is truly the best!

Mother

I had the pleasure of working with Martha after failing with my first daughter at breastfeeding, and was struggling with breastfeeding issues with my newborn. I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. From our first conversation she made me feel comfortable and understood my concerns about breastfeeding. Her extensive knowledge and experience in that field were evident as she patiently answered all my questions and provided tailored advice specific to my needs.

Martha took the time to observe my breastfeeding technique and offered constructive feedback that significantly improved my experience. She demonstrated various positions and techniques, making sure I felt confident and supported. Her warm demeanor and genuine empathy made all the difference during a challenging time.

What I appreciated most was her holistic approach; she not only addressed the mechanics of breastfeeding but also acknowledged the emotional aspects, helping me build a positive relationship with feeding my baby. She followed up with me regularly even though it wasn’t required. She checked in to see how things were progressing and offered additional resources.

Thanks to Martha I gained the confidence I needed to navigate breastfeeding successfully, as I was on the brink of giving up. I am incredibly grateful for her support and expertise, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parent seeking guidance. She truly is a lifesaver!

Mother

I saw Martha for my secong child, my first time exclusively breastfeeding. First of all shes makes you feel so comfortable, it's like you're talking to your best friend. She is so informative and covered all the concerns I had and then some. I left with so much knowledge and felt much more comfortable about my breastfeeding journey.

I would recommend Martha over and over again!
